"The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely large room which was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. "

"Absolutely love this hotel, have stayed twice this year and it is a lovely location. The rooms are lovely and a good size with comfortable beds, the breakfast is fantastic, the sauna area is excellent, the staff are wonderful. Can't wait to stay again!"

"The room was clean and new. The view was excellent. The service was good, but very hands off. Don’t expect to see much of your hosts. Breakfast was good, but not really buffet style. More like they put food out for you on a table. The only unfortunate thing is that on my last morning someone tried to enter my room a few times. Just trying the door which I had locked. Upon checkout I was unable to locate the hosts so I just left the key on the bar and took off. "

"The food in the restaurant was like from grandmas kitchen. Delicious dinner, the old German way. Rooms reasonably priced, clean and comfy beds. The only rub: church bells at 7 am ….. we had to get going, anyway, luckily. "

"The staff and breakfast buffet were wonderful. A short walk to the river and lovely scenery all around. It was nice having a balcony off the room."
