Beautiful views and friendly staff! It was a little confusing on how to get inside after hours but we managed! Having showers/bathrooms close to our room was great as well.
Loved the building and the host. The property was clean and quiet and convenient to have the large kitchen and laundry facilities. The beds were passable.
We will never forget this place! The most incredible views of the loch and the staff (Suzanne) was very helpful and friendly! We want to live here now!
The hostel was clean and easy to get to, with plenty of parking. Suzanne at the front desk was great. Kitchen was clean and fully stocked. Beds and duvets very comfortable.
Excellent value. Staff very helpful. All things work. Liked the nightlight configuration with plugs and light. Over all great experience. Good water pressure and good hot water.
We had visited with family and friends aged 13 to 65. The overall experience was great. The common facilities were clean and well maintained. The most fascinating part was the scenic beauty around the hostel. Enjoyed the sunrise over the lake with a cup of tea in front of the hostel. The location is also very convenient for visiting the Highlands.
For a hostel this was a pleasant experience. Quiet, not much traffic (I may have lucked out only having one roommate). Bedding was actually warm enough and towels were available on request. The ladies bathroom was clean (there was only one toilet and shower that I saw (unless I missed more), so you may need to share and wait to use. Ratagan is fairly simple so there isn't much choice for food, best to bring snacks or prepare to purchase whatever misc snacks the hostel offers. Wifi is only available in the main area, NOT the rooms or the dining area. A basic breakfast was available with a charge (toast, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice).
Literie confortable, prises usb.

Parking facile
A nice clean place! Quiet and beautiful spot in the water! Our room was great! 2 bunk-beds and a desk. Power and wifi. The guy at the front desk was friendly and very helpful!
Great base for the Kintail area. For a hostel it is well equipped for £20 per night. Bring enough food at least for breakfast and lunches, good kitchen but can get busy. Kintail Lodge about 2 miles away provides a bolt hole for an evening meal if you wish. Drying room and showers. It is a hostel so you are sharing with 6-8 others
