There were no communications with host, we essentially arrived at the remote property with no instructions and found the premises unlocked and we just made ourselves at home, after re-checking several times we were at the correct spot. For context, we traveled here in September - which is off season! Nearest grocery store was a 40min drive - we met our host along the winding road to the store - he greeted us with fresh eggs! "This an excellent resort… great location, good food, lovely staff… always helpful. … and facilities are spot on. However … two things to consider: 1) it is dog friendly, with rules to keep dogs on leads and in a separate part of the restaurant. However, it is not policed, and dog owners consistently had dogs on long leads ( I tripped over a lead!) , or some had no leads.
