"We loved our stay in La Vista! The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was very clean. We had our own private onsen in our room but made sure to use the bookable private onsens - those ones had a beautiful view. Our favourite part was the free yucata rentals - we got to wear them around town and it was such a fun experience! "

"Very accommodating, excellent service and excellent room. Our room had our own tiny hot spring bath so it was really cool. Also the owner is super friendly, we left our luggage there before check in and they helped us carry it up into our room. It's about 8 min walk to Yubatake (aka the center Kusatsu tourist area). Facility wise, they have free coffee and water, the owner even gave us milk as present 😊 they also have a super cool game room where they have japanese (childhood?) games."

"The fact that this building is over a hundred years old. Makes it a worthwhile location to stay. A short hop (500m) to the town centre and turning right at the hotel entrance brings you to a scenic outdoor man made/natural onsen location with Tori gates shrine nearby. The staffs are proficient in English and extremely helpful. Would recommend booking the private onsen so that the whole family can be together to soak and relax while creating new memories.
