"Great people at the hotel, a bit of a hassle getting there and the communication before was to say the least very poor. But the room was nice and the area is amazing just very expensive compared to rest of southern Albania. Suited for upper class in terms of prices. Get a car to drive around the southern Albania is my recommendation "

"We received this place via Expedia reservation was confirmed and we were charged for the room, Owner didn’t save the room for as we were left on dark with no other place to go even though we had kids they didn’t care. Place had no signs of the location we had to find the place on are own I will not recommend this place "

"I had an absolutely perfect stay at Kalemi 2 Hotel. The building itself is full of charm and history, beautifully preserved while still offering all the modern comforts. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay—always ready with a smile and great recommendations. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the views from the hotel are just stunning. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Gjirokastër’s old town, making it easy to explore the castle, cobblestone streets, and local restaurants. I highly recommend Kalemi 2 Hotel to anyone visiting Gjirokastër. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s part of the experience. I’ll definitely return!"
