"A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. "Firstly, I booked this on Hotels.com and paid 'up front'. We arrived at the hotel and found out they do NOT work with Hotels/Expedia. They had no booking, not would honor what I had paid. They did have two rooms and we paid for them. Then we found out it was a 'love motel' and pay-by-the-hour for hookups. This property should be removed from selection on Hotels.com. Damn!"

"The location of this resort is stunning, just beautiful. The service is superb. The food is amazing. And the cottage itself was tastefully recreated. We enjoyed walking the tea trails - just expect to make an effort on the plantation hills. We also relaxed and enjoyed the hotel every afternoon. They will do anything to make your stay as perfect as possible. It was an ideal stay for us. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at 'Forest Edge Hotel'. The location is charming with nature and beautiful views all around (I think all rooms have access to a balcony). It's far away enough from the main road that you don't hear any traffic. They also have a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. At least in the room we stayed, there were only power outlets with circular-shaped pins (something to keep in mind if you're used to using square pin adapters). The WIFI was a bit iffy at times but that might be a good thing if you want to get away from work-related online stuff! The choices of meals was rather limited but adequate. Would love to come back for a longer stay!"
