"This hotel is a bit run down - the wall paper in corridor peels off - some stranger odour too. A Malay family staying next door to our room was cooking (or preparing noodles) with some special dried fish ingredient they brought in, and the smell was awful. However, the balcony view is fantastic."

"just nice to get away from the hectic schedule and world. totally quiet since we are the only guests at the time. So quiet and peaceful. it is quite cold t the time of stay and raning the whole night. Be prepared to bring sustenance or order ahead of time from the lodge. If you were a SOCMED hardcore can't get away at all from the world's gossip, be prepare since there is no internet/phoneline unless you subscibe to in-house satelitte line @ RM10/1GB. "

"Lovely place to say, air conditioning in rooms, bathrooms had toiletries. Sheets are super clean, breakfast in the morning. We liked the roti and curry and extra coffee. Small mini mart next door, loads of on-street parking. Walkable to the jeti in 15min albeit up a small steep slope. Quiet night except the mosque call at 5:45am each morning "
