"Very clean, owner welcoming. windows are unable to be opened due to the scaffolding around the building, but this was the only flaw. Rooms are simple and comfy, aircon was a welcomed amenity. Close to MTR links, cafes, restaurants and shops. The outside looks a little intimidating but there is 24/7 security and everything is only accessible by keycard. I felt very safe and would return to AMU Dreamhouse. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We booked a double room but what we were provided unfortunately wasn’t a full size double bed.
The size of the room was very small and there were signs up apologising for this but I can live with a small room. There was no window in the room which made it feel even more claustrophobic. We both found it difficult to sleep in the small bed and I had to use the towels provided to cover part of me up when I slept, otherwise I would get cold as the single size bed cover wasn’t big enough for both of...

"I've stayed at Ashoka Hostel before. If you are a budget traveler, I can't recommend this place enough. I needed a cheap place to stay while getting my visa updated last year. So I stayed here again. I stayed during the May holiday this time, which meant the price was more than $44 a night, but it was still a bargain. If you are looking for a safe place to sleep and clean up, this is it. I didn't have a refrigerator this time, but it was okay. The rooms are super-tiny. But it didn't matter to...

"Very convenient location, super close to the MTR station and shopping malls. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there's free dispensable cold water available which was great. The room was very small but it was enough for what I needed and most importantly it was clean. Only negatives is the shower could do with a lightbulb as it was very dark and other guests can be quite loud sometimes."

"This hotel was quite literally the worst place I have ever stayed. Every picture that they have is fake and highly edited. There is mold, rust, bed bugs, a terrible smell, and my room had a constant drip going from the ceiling. Men stand outside of the location harassing you daily as you come in and out. There is no amount of money that could make me stay here again and the place should be shut down for it's frankly disgusting state. The owners are scammers and deserve none of your money. Do...

"Very new hotel. Most of the staff are friendly especially the luggage department. Complimentary breakfast was already better than expect although not a wide range of choice, but is above average. Shuttle bus makes more convenience, although a short walk can access to train station. Room size are so reasonable in Hong Kong. Bath Tube are so nice with good enough water pressure.
No self laundry room but some laundry shop are within 10 mins walk. "
"Will definitely come back to this hotel next time we come to HK! It felt like a warm home in the best location in TST. They even have laundry available which is helpful especially since we had a long stay. The room was very clean and staff was very friendly. "
Hostels are a great way to stay for a good value, so you can save your money for fun things to do. We've heard good things about the waterfront and other attractions in this destination, as well as activities like shopping.
