"While we were unable to complete our reservation due to plumbing troubles during their renovations, the staff was exceptionally helpful in cancelling our accomodations and were very kind. Especially Amber and Deja the night of the reservation, and Ben and Dorothy when I had to finalize the refund. They were all beyond gracious and demonstrated professionalism, fine etiquette and exemplified the meaning of hospitality. I have always wanted to stay at the Elegante, and this was supposed to be the trip that happened. Because they handled this regrettable situation with such courtesy and finesse, my esteem for the property has not diminished at all and has in fact, grown fonder. I will absolutely return to this grand dame of Beaumont and recommend it to friends and family who visit."

"While there was an issue with the swimming pool that initially dampened our spirits, Anne the night clerk (night of Sept 18) was quick to assure us that we would be welcomed at the neighboring hotel swimming pool. This courtesy was the defining point of our stay and made our trip pleasant and comfortable for our family. There was another family at the pool that evening who were friendly and enjoyable, engaging with our children and playing together. We would also like to commend Ms. Eudora, the breakfast server, who remembered us each day and was very friendly and kind to us. This experience exceeded our expectations, despite the pool malfunction, and it was all due to excellent staff. The highway noise from our rooms could not even cause us disturbance because we slept so well knowing the staff was genuinely concerned for our safety, wellbeing and happiness. Such excellent service is rare, and this location is a diamond in the rough when it comes to fantastic staff. They deserve the recognition and praise for going above and beyond for our family, and we appreciate them very kindly."

"Clean and comfortable room. Very quiet. Would definitely stay again. The only issue was with the weird redirected road construction going on around the hotel, but the hotel can't be blamed for that!"
