LAPSUUDEN LINNA TULI TODEKSI !

Hotelliin toivon hyvää viitoitusta, koska viitat olivat miten sattuu alueella. Sivusta-alueet aika rähjäisiä. Talon "emäntä" tuli vastaanottamaan ja iloinen, avoin, mukava kohtaaminen johdatteli sisälle. Upeita yksityiskohtia ja ylevä tunnelma välittyi menneestä. Kesällä varmaan parasta loistoa. Katto korkealla ! Sängyt erinomaiset ! Hiljaista! Yövyimme sviitissä eli tilaa oli 2 huoneen verran. Erittäin siistiä joka paikassa. Pienet kuohuviinipullot jääkaapissa oli mukava yllätys. Aamiainen tuotiin sovitusti huoneeseen, se aivan toiveiden mukainen. Kiitos.

Rauhallinen hotelli hyvien kulkuyhteyksien vieress

Koiranäyttelyreissun yöpymiset koiran kanssa. Hotellin sijainti on hyvä. Huoneet siistit, mutta kaipaisivat toki jo päivitystä. Äänieristys heikohko. Aamiaisen tuoreet sämpylät aivan ihanat! Hyvät ulkoilumaastot ihan vieressä.

Slitt, men fantastisk. Anbefales!

Hotellet er et fantastisk bygg fra 1891. Trenger en del vedlikehold, men er en opplevelse. Vi bodde på et separat gjestehus, som trenger enda mer vedlikehold og har enkel standard, men greit nok. Man må bare være forberedt på at det ikke er et luksushotell i dag, men at det likevel er en fantastisk opplevelse å bo der.

Varasin yöpymisen netin kautta. Päärakennus näytti viehättävältä ja aamiaisella maistuivat lämpimät, itse tehdyt sämpylät. Majoittuminen oli suuri pettymys. Meidät majoitettiin erilliseen rakennukseen, jonka ulkonäkö oli rapistunut ja sisäilma ummehtunut. Lakanat olivat puhtaat, mutta toinen pyyhkeistä oli likainen. Huone oli huonosti siivottu (lattialla roskia edellisen asukkaan jäljiltä). Suihkukaappi oli hieman ruosteinen ja sen nurkassa oli likaa. Ainoat ikkunaverhot roikkuivat osittain irti verhonipsuista ja olivat läpinäkyvää kangasta.

Matkalla Loviisan asuntomessuille

Sisäänkirjautuminen oli ilmoitettu alkavaksi klo 15, mutta huone ei ollut valmis vielä 15.15 kun saavuimme kohteeseen. Odotellessamme saimme kupposen kahvia. Huone sijaitsi sinisessä vierastalossa, jonka opasteet olivat melko huonot. Aikamme hortoilun jälkeen löysimme oikean huoneen. Rakennus vaatisi mittavaa kunnostusta ulkoapäin, sisältä oikein hyvä yöpymistä varten. Huoneeseen oli varattu 2 juomalasia, joista ainakin toinen vaikutti jääneen edelliseltä majoittujalta. Siispä emme niitä käyttäneet. Lisäksi emme löytäneet huoneesta kun puolikkaan rullan wc paperia. Siivoajille tässä asiassa parannettavaa. Aamiainen oli pienoinen pettymys. Olisin kaivannut 8€:n hintaan jotain lämmintä syötävääkin, vaikka niitä perinteisiä nakkeja ja munakokkelia. Plussaa kotitekoisista sämpylöistä, nam.

Sympaattinen kartanoympäristö loi kivan tunnelman. Huone oli pienehkö mutta ok ja ihan siisti. Kymijoen maisemat rannassa hienot. Aamiainen oikein hyvä. Noin km päässä vanhan Karhulan tehtaan alue joka oli mielenkiintoista nähdä.

Joen yli hovin siimekseen

Yövyimme jo toisen kerran Karhulan hovissa. Kerrassaan miellyttävä paikka rauhoittavan, vehreän jokimaiseman ja hyvien liikenneyhteyksien ja palvelujen keskellä. Wanhaa kartanoa ei ole liiaksi uudistettu, ja menneen maailman tunnelma on yhä aistittavaissa sekä sisä- että ulkotiloissa. Aamiainen oli runsas, mutta sängyn patja olisi jo syytä vaihtaa. Ylipäänsä mutkatonta yöpymistä miellyttävässä ympäristössä eteläisen Kymenlaakson matkaajille.

Too pricey for the experience

For the price at the time, just below 200 a night, it was not well matching the experience. As a family with toddler we got 4 beds and no frills room. No climate control, not working toilet door, no in-room entertainment, no baby crib, a bit run-down room, OK people service, a good breakfast and nice looking hotel by exterior.

Menneen ajan tunnelmaa

Todella kaunis hotelli upeassa puistossa Kymijoen rannalla. Kiinteistö on päässyt hieman rapistumaan, eikä puutarhaakaan ollut pystytty hoitamaan sen ansaitsemalla tavalla, mutta kokemus oli silti upea ja tietynlainen romanttinen rappio sopi paikan luonteeseen hyvin. Huone oli ihanan suuri ja mahdollisuus saada lapsi nukkumaan omaan tilaansa loistava.

Nimeämme ei ollut hotellin käsinkirjoitetussa vierasluettelossa, kuitenkin meillä oli varausvahvistus printtinä. Huoneet ovat hyvin erilaisia. Meillä oli ahdas ja epäkäytännöllinen huone jonka kylpyhuone oli yleisen käytävän toisella puolella. Se oli kuitenkin väin tätä huonetta varten. Ei hyvä!

Das Hotel ist historisch betrachtet sehr interessant. Das Haus sieht AUS wie ein Schloss, ist aber abgekommen und bräuchte eine erneuerung, bzw. Modernisierung. Im Bad kein Duschgel, TV klein und 5 lokale Sender!!!! Frühstück für diese Preisklasse mangelhaft und Kaffee schmeckte nicht
