Thermostat could not be set lower than 72 degrees which was sometimes too hot in the Villa. Security around the pool was rude with telling us that pool hours ended. Otherwise, great location

What are some of the general tips for travelers to Ko'olauloa District during the COVID-19 outbreak?
With strict COVID-19 precautions in effect, travel looks a lot different at the moment. These are some handy things to know before you hop on that plane to Ko'olauloa District:
  • Before you book a flight, see if any travel bans or restrictions apply — in both your destination and origin. Keep informed with the latest updates by reviewing government websites.
  • Requirements state that you must wear a face mask at the airport, including at security checkpoints. You should be prepared to adjust your mask for identification purposes when asked by a TSA employee.
  • Instead of handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, position it directly on the reader yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
  • TSA now permits passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will have to be removed from your bag for X-ray screening.
  • To minimize handling during screening, place personal items such as your wallet, phone and belt into your carry-on instead of the bins.
  • If you're bringing food on the plane, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for inspection.
