The breakfast had many options, but we chose to eat out most days. The Stroopwaffle shop down the street was an added plus! "

Perfectly quirky, full of art in every space with a restaurant and bar, and several reading rooms. Our room was comfortable and well-designed for a small space. Bathroom was large though and included towel heaters. I’d recommend and stay here again. It’s truly lovely. "

After searching for a place on Google and Hotels.com, we found Hotel IX and after our stay in the Runstraat Suite we have no hesitation in recommending it. The accommodation is great, the location is perfect and the overall experience was seamless. Our room had a huge photo of the Runsraat streetscape, and we went and checked it out in person and recreated the photo, which is a cool little touch."

"The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent both breakfast and dinner. Fantastic location just off Dam Square - we walked everywhere! Only complaint very little storage in the room for clothes and basically lived out of the suitcase. Still highly recommended! "

"Beautiful appt in a great location. There are plenty of bars and restaurants near by for a quick meal. There is a good selection from Dutch to Italian to even McDonalds. There are also grocery stories a few blocks away if you want to eat in. The host was extremely helpful with tips and helping us book a taxi. The rooms are in the basement so you don’t hear any street noise from near by bars. The stairs are abit steep as they are in all Amsterdam homes so this wouldn’t be well suited for someone...

"Just unreal. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip special. They were so kind, accommodating and knowledgable. The hotel is pristine. Not only are the interiors beautiful but the beds are ridiculously comfortable. Location wise you are in the heart of things so nothing is too far to cycle or walk. Plus the tram is right there should you want to whizz about on that. 10/10. We couldn’t thank the Rosewood enough for a birthday stay we won’t forget. "
