"The Fireside Inn is beautiful. The best was it can be described is quaint. It makes you feel like you are at home. It was so comfortable and welcoming. Next time we are in New Hampshire we will be booking a room there for sure! Highly recommend. Staff are amazing and the atmosphere is great."

"Upon arrival, we had trouble turning on the TV because the remote wasn’t working properly. We called the Hideaway Inn’s phone number, and the representative assured us that the innkeeper would come to help. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up. After troubleshooting the issue ourselves, we figured out that plugging the Roku into a different HDMI port solved the problem. We also noticed that the remote’s batteries were nearly dead. It was disappointing that no one followed up or came to assist us, especially after we were told someone would. Additionally, the bed had an unpleasant, unusual smell, which made our stay less comfortable. Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of service and attention to basic room maintenance."

"We loved this location. Loved the history of the Shaker Village and the Dwelling had the museum on the bottom 2 floors. Don’t expect a modern hotel, expect a comfortable historical experience. Staff was lovely and friendly. Rooms were quiet. Great hiking spots and close to Lebanon if you need anything/want a places to eat."
