"Please do not precook eggs in masses in advance in future und present them on a plate. All eggs were cold. Noone likes cold fried, boiled or poached eggs. Unfortunatly your staff at the egg Station dont understand that this is a nonsense."

"We stayed in the Beach front villa for our honeymoon for 12 days. The staff were the most beautiful, pleasant people we have ever met. They would go above and beyond for even the smallest of things! The room and view was extraordinary! Such a beautiful place to stay! We’ve made memories of a life time here! Will definitely be back!"

"Overall: incredible hotel in a beautiful peaceful location. The staff made it! (Absolute credit to Ocha in Saffron for her impeccable professionalism and personal attention. Also Diamond, Poom in the pool bar and Fa at breakfast. Thank you!) Excellent drinks menu and happy hour 1600-2000 between different locations. Delicious food. Rooms 10/10. Not a complaint, but FYI: a bit off the beaten track - not much on the doorstep and very little in the way of provided entertainment (which we'd expect in a secluded resort) - so prepare to pay approx 400 baht each way for the 20 min journey to eg Fisherman's Village."

"I have stayed at the Chaweng Regent periodically for 15–20 years. It has an excellent location, a lovely beach and pleasant pools, within easy walking distance of central Chaweng but away from the busiest area. However, service can feel geared towards high-volume package tourism, which is frustrating when paying the full room rate. On this visit, my room was not ready at the advertised check-in time. After I complained, I was given a very comfortable replacement that appeared to have been prepared for honeymoon guests. Having just unpacked, I was then asked to move to my original room. I inspected it but declined: it was in a poor location beside the children’s pool and noticeably inferior. A few days later, the hotel generously upgraded me to an excellent beachfront bungalow, which compensated for the inconvenience. Nevertheless, this was my second stay this year, and rooms within the same category have varied considerably in location, condition and quality. Despite paying the full rate, I was concerned that my original allocation appeared to be one of the least desirable rooms. The facilities and location remain excellent, and this quieter visit was more relaxing than my stay in March. However, the inconsistency between rooms would make me nervous about booking again."
