"I feel the Shantaa Resort is the best option on Koh Kood. The villas are amazing with great A/C, clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and the ocean view is rocky which isn't that big of a problem. The beach is 200 Meters to the left which is an easy walk. You can rent a scooter for 350 Baht for 24 hours to explore the Island & try other local restaurants. The food was great (not too overpriced) and the staff were all super friendly. I would definitely stay again!"

"We would come back to Shantaa again and again!! The location, the grounds, the villas, the beaches, the pool, the restaurants and beach bars/cafes are sll beautiful! The food and drinks are top notch and the staff are genuinely the nicest people in Thailand. We were sad to leave but will aim to come back!"

"Absolutely beautiful. Admittedly, I was very surprised to see that the toilet and shower in the villa was actually outside, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The private beach is heavenly, the beach side bar and food was excellent. You're a bit far to the south, but that only puts you closer to the southern pier, and nothing is very far away in the first place - not a very big island to start with. All in all, couldn't be happier with this place."
