Die Unterkunft ist wie man sich einen Landgasthof vorstellt: Es ist alles da, was man benötigt, es gibt's jedoch nicht viele Besonderheiten darüber hinaus. Die Lage ist direkt am Fuße der Festung Königstein, sodass diese fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine schöne Auswahl geboten. Allerdings wir der Gasthof derzeit leider nicht abends betrieben, sodass man auf Restaurants in der Umgebung (nicht fußläufig) zurückgreifen muss. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt und schöne Tage in der Unterkunft.

Sehr gute Lage

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es ist sehr gut zu finden. Der Service und das Personal sind sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und gut.

Typischer Landgasthof - die Bezeichnung Hotel ist reichlich übertrieben. Zimmer ok, Einrichtung einfach, Bad sehr klein. Bedienung beim Frühstück sehr freundlich. Der Gasthof profitiert scheints hauptsächlich an der Nähe zu Königstein. Ärgerlich war die höchst unfreundliche Begrüßung durch die Besitzerin: wir waren nach anstrengender Fahrt von der Nordsee um 18:50 eingelangt. Da in meinen Unterlagen steht, Rezeption von 16:00 bis 20:00 geöffnet (Hotel?) habe ich keine Notwendigkeit gesehen, während der Fahrt anzurufen um unsere Ankunft für nach 18:00 zu melden, was mit der Bemerkung quittiert wurde, wir könnten froh sein, dass noch was frei ist. Außerdem war die Dame offensichtlich nicht erfreut, dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben. So ein unfreundlicher Empfang verleidet einem den ganzen Aufenthalt. Außerdem erscheint der Preis von rund 100,00€ (etwa 80 fürs Zimmer und 20 für 2 Personen Frühstück) vergleichsweise mit anderen Häusern dieser Preisgruppe überhöht

Gefallen hat mir vor allem die Lage. Unmittelbar am fuße der Festung Königstein ist es nur ein katzensprung zu Denkmäler und Malerischen Landschaften. Negativ fand ich das die Zimmer Tür jederzeit von außen geöffnet werden kann, wenn man sich nicht einschließt. Das ist meiner Meinung nach nicht zeitgemäß.
