"The big problem is, it's part of a huge Chinese tour operation now, so any peace and quiet goes out of the window. Was greeted with "nihao" at check in, constant announcements in Chinese, it's just not a pleasant experience. we left a day early because of it. I guess if you are Chinese you will love it here.
The resort itself is nice, the pool is nice and the staff who do speak Thai are friendly.

" Very nice.
The sunset restaurant on the beach was never open but we soon learnt that it was not part of the hotel.
Boat trips were available but as they were expensive they were regularly cancelled on the day of the trip.
Internet availability was awful. It was very slow and you had to sign in to each area of the hotel you were in. Each sign in only lasted a day so a bit disappointed really.
On site Hotel Spa was very good. "

"We stayed 4 nights and loved it. The Chino room was both beautiful and restful. Loved the surroundings and the beach …. But, it was chaotic in knowing how to get to the island resort (hotel instructions are not clear) and then finding that the restaurant by the stunning beach only operated certain hours was a shock. But we made the most of it and would be back in a second if we could."
