"We had a fantastic time with our young toddler. Spacious and well equipped property, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Excellent and well maintained facilities with the highlights being a tennis court and an indoor swimming pool! Beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by fields and countryside. The Bell Inn

10/10 Excellent

"We have stayed here 4 times for overnight stops. Everything is lovely and clean, staff, for the most part are pleasant and professional - I say for the most part - on our latest visit, we ordered a wine spritzer and specified soda, not lemonade and a half pint of pepsi. We got a spritzer with lemonade and a full pint of pepsi but it was soon sorted. We have had 4 different rooms out of the 5 that there are, and only one of them was what I would class as too small even for a standard double. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast - included in the price is perfect - whatever you want full English plus pastries, yoghourts, fruit etc. The outside area is lovely, with choices of seating in the beautiful garden, and a small play area for children. Our first choice for an overnight stop on the way to visit family."

"Our room was small but lovely, with a very good shower and lots of clean towels. The continental breakfast was plentiful and shared with other guests in the breakfast room. All the staff we met were friendly and polite, treating locals and guests with the same respect and courtesy. Our evening meal was delicious, with tasty vegetarian options as well as lots of meat/fish on offer and the draught cider was especially welcome in the heat! We found this place by chance but we definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again."

"What a fantastic start to our honeymoon, which was booked last minute after an injury prevented us from our abroad plans! The inn is gorgeous with the most beautiful terrace! The nightlight of our stay, however was the wonderful staff, closely followed by the exceptional food - we were looked after so well by the team who couldn't do enough for us for our special occasion. We felt almost like family and you are all a credit to the inn! I recommend to stay - but also just go for a fabulous dinner - you will not be disappointed!"
