"Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift. We also used the Xest Spa at the sister hotel, Chapter House. We had the gold package which was amazing. The ladies there were so professional. Thank you to everyone for a lovely stay and we will be sure to visit again. "

"Poor quality rooms. Bathroom doors are rotten and carpets are stained. Room 206 had a smell similar to a public hospital. The beds are soft and over used."
