"The hotel could use a little updating especially the bathroom fixtures and carpets. The room was okay, but it could use some more rigorous cleaning, especially in the bathroom. The hotel manager is friendly and efficient. Breakfast was a little lean at the hotel, but the Hungry Duck in Black Duck is excellent home style food with great service. Pool was closed."

"My stay was fine, no major issues. The in room jacuzzi could have been cleaned out better, had a bunch of tiny black specks floating all over. The pool area was fun, unfortunately my daughter ended up getting a rash from the chlorine level. We had to deal with a neighbor jamming out like crazy the next day, fortunately they stopped after a few hours... breakfast was great though they did a great job preparing that. The views from the rooms are very beautiful though, overall this hotel has a ton of potential if they tackle the tiny little issues. Had a great time, hope to come again in the future. "

"The breakfast was very nice; lots of options. Our room was well kept-up, and fairly clean. The front desk staff was personable and quick. We slept very well, and the beds were quite comfortable. Also, there was plenty of parking space for our truck and trailer, which we appreciated."

"We got upgraded to the newly renovated rooms in the main lodge. The room was spacious and clean. The view from our room 305 was excellent. Food in the restaurant were delicious. You should try their creamy chicken wild rice, the best in the area. Staff were great and helpful."

"Cute, trendy boutique hotel with touchpad entrance, no staff onsite. Cleaning could improve slightly as lower surfaces were a bit dusty and there were cracker remnants on the floor under the bed, two of the ceiling tiles appeared loose. No closet, but several wall hooks. Could use room darkening shades as there is a street light right outside the window so the room is never dark at night. Great instructions and good local information provided. Nicely decorated. Enjoyed our stay."
