"The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the beds were very comfortable. The room did not have much floor space, considering it was supposed to be an accessible room for an electric wheelchair. The bathroom was particularly problematic since I could not get my wheelchair into the bathroom properly. I was unable to use the accessible shower because my chair did not fit past the door. I noticed a lot of dust in areas."

"The Kent Inn is a good choice if you’re just looking for a decent place to sleep. The rooms are clean and large; a desk, fridge microwave and even a table & chairs are provided. The location is great for access to things you need with ample parking available. The Kent Inn really needs a makeover with some new, modern light fixtures, fresh tiles in the bathrooms. In dire need of a refresh. A completely acceptable place to stay if you’re not looking for modern decor and want to save a few bucks."

"Had to wait for room to be ready. Wasn't told when it was ready so finally i asked about it and was told that yes it was ready but I hadn't been told. There was a change in person working front desk so it was lack of communication. When we went to our room we had to leave immediately as the food odour smell was so strong that we couldn't stay. Was told that they could clean the room again but am sure that the smell would still be there. Was told that people didn't cook in the rooms but obviously someone did. Finally got changed to another room but it wasn't ready yet so had to wait again. Have never had this kind of problem before but we were not impressed. Can't believe that the cleaning staff wouldn't know that the room smelt bad."

"The room was clean. The staff were nice. Breakfast was ok. The heat was super loud even on low. We asked for more shampoo and conditioner and they must have forgotten about us. Someone must have blown a breaker. We were out of power in the morning for an hour. Just as I was getting ready for work. Very frustrating as it made me late. Not a nice way to start my day."

The Briars Resort & Spa

"This is an old established resort and it has many interesting points both property and building wise. However you can detect a slight musty (old) smell once you enter the lobby and the rooms which took away some of the expected excitement of staying here. Some parts are starting to show their age and will need replacing I imagine. The rainy day did not help to show its splendor of long ago. We did not get to enjoy the amenities as we were at a family function most of our day and we departed early next day."
