Top Kirkconnel Hotel Reviews

Nith Riverside Cottages

10/10 Excellent

"Cottage is in a good position overlooking the river and what is really good is the secure rear garden for letting our dogs out, a terrier and an escape artist aka a beagle. The cottage had everything we required and was clean, comfortable and had a great shower."

Scaurbridge House

10/10 Excellent

"Well it's just horrible... waking up on my first morning home to find that Elizabeth Ann is not going to be there with a plate full of beautiful food and a mind full of interesting stories! I had a wonderful stay. EA is a delightful hostess and loves providing a warm welcome with a thousand thoughtful touches. I was going to be out doing adventurous things that I knew would leave me unwell the following day. On both days EA created the breakfast of my dreams. On the first day, she timed it so that I could leave for my event. On the second, she made sure I had chance to relax and go back to bed when I was ready. She also made sure that I had everything for a lovely bath etc. She also catered beautifully around the things I'm unable to eat. I appreciate you very much, Elizabeth Ann!"

Krishna Eco Farm

10/10 Excellent

"Good location; very economical; comfortable. A lack of tea and coffee in the room (the chamomile tea was welcome after the long drive). The wifi firewall blocked a few pages I would have liked to access (silly games - but online video streaming worked). I didn't take breakfast, but the offer was very welcome. Overall, a very pleasant stay."
