The hotel was fine but definitely not of the standard I would expect from a usual Champneys venue. Rooms felt a bit dated, especially the dining area. Palace Hotel & Spa Buxton
The cooked breakfast was nice. Staff absolutely lovely except from one person in the main reception who booked us in (looked and sounded like they did not want to be there - could have been having a bad day). Clean, tidy rooms. Showers worked well.
