"The bathroom looked like it had mold, the cabinet smelled, and the door did not lock properly ( they did not fix it even when I asked). The pool was nice but other than that there is no appeal."

"A bit far from the pyramids but you get what you pay for, rooms were ok, quite a new building so was alright. No hot water in the rooms, so wasn’t good. Non existent breakfast - so went to McDonald’s instead. We had a car so was a good location for pyramids and GEM."

"Efficient & friendly staff, went the extra mile to resolve a problem. Amazing view, clean & well maintained & good breakfast - fantastic base for exploring Giza & the Great Egyptian Museum. Would highly recommend"
"This is an exceptional hotel.
.
It's very conveniently situated near the Pyramids and new Grand Egyptian Museum.
It thoroughly deserves it's 5* rating
But what makes it special is the staff. Without exception welcoming, smiling and gracious.
Always looking to make sure your stay is perfect.
I will return, if only to relax by the pool !
This is a true Oasis. "
"The Ramses was a great hotel but if you want to just go for a walk outside your hotel. The Ramses is on a busy main freeway and you can cross the street but if you have never been in Cairo. They have a saying in Cairo... if you want to cross the street... take a taxi... theere areno cross walks. People just cross infront of the traffic . Crazy traffic in Cairo. "
"The room was great, and the staff was phenomenal. I was sick and the front office arranged and had a Doctor and his nurse come directly to my room to check me out and the medication he order me for the flu was delivered to my room as well. This was a wonderful experience."
"PROS: Staff (concierge, valet, general) were respectful, courteous, knowledgeable; room was clean and fresh. Meal package was well worth the price with great views, great staff and great food (actual chefs in the kitchen)!
CON: The bank staff onsite was rude, abrasive, not well organized and took forever for the simplest transactions, there would be tellers doing seeminglynothing while one person tends the line out the door, the atm just outside the hotels bank did not work, I almost deducted a star for this but the great service elsewhere in the hotel made up for it."
