Everything was wonderful except they tried to charge us for an upgrade at check-out that we never booked or requested. They said I booked an upgrade through Expedia which we never did and we weren’t even “given” an upgraded room.

Excellent location walking distance to all train station and all city centre bars/resturaunts and shops. Room clean but some areas need attention to give full marks. Goodramgate Apartments
Easy check in and out. Staff were friendly. Excellent location. Great for 4 to 6 people . Sofa bed was not the comfiest. Beware, parking nearby costs quite a lot for the day which we didn't expect. Overall, we would stay again as it's in the perfect location for a visit to York.
