"My wife and I love houses with real character. We enjoyed sitting in a two hundred year old living room, open fire, glass of something in hand- lord of the manor! Very relaxing- really quiet- excellent breakfast. First class hosts- would like to go back some time. "
"The staff and service was excellent. The room was okay. The location is great for a leisurely 20 minute walk to Inverurie train station and high street. "

"I've been using this hotel for 20 years and stayed here as it went through different management and names right back to the speedbird days. It's my favorite hotel at the airport. I like it because it has all the facilities I need however I have been watching the prices go up especially in the restaurant. Still it is competitive considering the prices of the hotels in this area. For me it remains the best value for money and I hope that does not change"
Blythewood Aberdeenshire Luxury House With Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"Blythewood House was absolutely amazing. The house is decorated to a high standard and the open plan design was perfect for a large group. The house has all you need.
We had brilliant weather and so the garden, hot tub and games room was well used. The hot tub and BBQ area was well heated and so even in colder days it’s perfect. The area itself was also great, a local park, shop and pub all about a 2 minute walk away. Everyone had a brilliant time."
"We absolutely loved staying at this property. Noelle and David were very kind. They were very helpful in letting us know local restaurants, stores, and places to visit. We used this home as our base to take different day trips. We stayed with our 6 and 9 year-old children, and would recommend this home and property to anyone. The house is very clean has a dishwasher, small fridge, two showers and a very large tub that unfortunately we did not have time to use. We were also able to do a little bit of laundry while we were there, thanks to their new washing machine and drying rack so I was able to pack lighter and not bring as many clothes this time. I am so very picky about where we stay as a family, and I would absolutely stay here again. The property is gorgeous and has walking trails available just from your front door to the Fetternear Estate and Bishops palace ruins. We finally saw a red squirrel this trip and it was on their property. We visited Dunnottar, Craigievar, Braemar, Fraser, and Drum Castles as well as Cullerlie and Aquhorthies Stone Circles all within the week because they were close enough to drive to. Some of the castles were closed for season but we were still able to walk the grounds’ trails and had the best time enjoying this fall visit to Scotland. We had time for a quick tasting at Royal Lochnager near Balmoral. This is the perfect place to stay if it’s your first visit to Scotland. Aberdeen Is easy to fly to and get to the property. Thank you! "
