"Upon arrival we were greeted by a male receptionist (hair tied up) he is lovely . He’s very friendly helpful and willing to help 10 /10. The hotel is clean and welcoming. Our room was clean with plenty of room bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices the hot food was warm and I enjoyed all the items I chose. My only criticism is a lady wearing high heels who I think is maybe a manager took a telephone call it was clearly about work quite loud and continued to talk whilst walking to the top for toast etc. loud footsteps loud voice . we were on a break away from work so we didn’t want to hear work related issues . We just wanted to relax having breakfast. The location of the hotel is excellent met all our needs . We really enjoyed our stay …. Until next time."

Moxy Cork

"The Moxy was brilliant for what we needed for our 4 night city break. A perfect location next to the river, not far from Cork airport by taxi and then almost everything in the city was a good walkable distance, some things only up to 10 minutes away. The hotel inside and out was modern and aesthetically pleasing, with a lovely fragrance running through the lobby and main areas. Our room was nice, not the biggest, but had everything we needed. The shower was really nice and the air-conditioning was amazing- nice and cold- we were there during an Irish heatwave! The only drawbacks about the room was the view wasn't wonderful but it didn't really bother us, and the bed was soft/a bit uncomfortable but that happens in pretty much any hotel I go to so is probably just my issue! The staff at the Moxy were just brilliant, so welcoming and friendly. They were happy to help with anything you need. They were particularly accommodating when I spilled a drink on our bed and they quickly had the bedding changed. The bar was nice where we had a complimentary welcome cocktail, that was such a lovely touch. Thank you Moxy for a really nice and welcoming stay in Cork, what a beautiful hotel and city you have!"

Old Bank House Kinsale

"I love Kinsale. This was my first stay at the Old Bank and I loved it too. Magical to sit and look out over this very pretty town and harbour from the window seat in my beautifully appointed room. I’ve never had a better breakfast than the one included; fresh fruit salad (good variety, perfect quality), eggs Benedict (golden yolks and perfectly poached, perfect ham and proper artisan bread toasted, chef quality hollandaise) and a blueberry muffin(with a surprise centre), everything top quality and fresh, nothing over processed or artificial, or over sugared or over salted. And proper tea of course. The breakfast alone made me wish I stayed longer. I even found a parking space out the front. The whole package, superb."

The River Lee Hotel

"We spent one night here and got a large double twin — spacious and spotless. The staff were the highlight: we asked for extra pillows and a fan, and someone sorted it quickly without any fuss. Parking was easy, and the food had real care behind it — nothing overdone, just done properly. The whole place carries itself with a quiet sophistication rather than anything showy. Would happily stay again."
