"Things we loved about the Hotel Dene: the staff were lovely; the room was clean, comfortable and well-designed; the included breakfast was very good and served till 10 on weekends; and the walk-in rain shower was terrific. The location was very convenient for us and it was nice to be outside of town. Things we didn't love: the pool that appears in the hotel description is under construction and, according to other commentors, has been for some time. In other words, don't count on the pool or gym unless you call first to confirm that they're open. The restaurant in the hotel is only open for breakfast (closing at 9 am weekdays) and the restaurant in the casino is IN the casino and therefore can't serve families. Also, we didn't find out until we'd checked in that only queen rooms have baths; king rooms have walk-in showers only. We would definitely stay here again, especially if the pool and gym open. Very good value, and very comfortable."

"Everything was great. Especially liked the complimentary EV charger and the soap/body wash/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. Had a little issue with the HVAC unit in the room but it didn't affect our stay. Highly recommended."

"The motel is what you would expect. Low rate, nothing fancy, some little things that make the stay not quite A+. But the staff were very kind, bed was quite comfortable, and it was a very decent stay for the money. I would stay again."
