There is a lot to see and do in Kingston. Really liked what they're doing to revive the downtown and waterfront. Emancipation Park is a really nice place to hangout

I found the drivers very polite except for taxis and motorcycles; they seem always in a rush at any cost. The city itself was quite diverse but in the areas I visited, I felt quite safe. I think that it was very progressive since my last visit.

Good luck if you decide to drive in Kingston. It is NOT for the faint of heart! I'm from Jamaica and I do Not recommend it if you don't have NASCAR driving experience. I'm just sayin'

If you're visiting from America then learn how to speak to the locals. They dont like when we come over acting arrogant. Most locals are nice one you speak.

Kingston is a very modern city and it is modeled after any major downtown city outside of the island in the states. Absolutely stunning.
