If i could i would leave 10 stars for hospitality and atmosphere. Even our fellow guests were exceptionally friendly and engaging. Don't bother looking elsewhere in the area. This is the place to stay!

Great diamond in the rough. New ownership is working to bring the Bavarian Manor back to life and is looking good. Good and beverage is great and staff are super friendly and welcoming.

The Bavarian Manor House in Purling, NY is a wonderful and beautiful restaurant and hotel. The Staff are EXCELLENT, Friendly and Helpful. The Restaurant downstairs has wonderful food and service. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Great Place -will come back soon in the Fall. -Dennis Watson

The hotel is very old and charming! It adds to the atmosphere of the area. If you’re looking for all the modern amenities this would not be the best choice. Internet was sporadic and there was no TV service which was a reminder of how old the hotel is. I thought it was a wonderful break from 2024!

Wouldn’t come back

Old house that looks and smells old. Restaurant staff friendly but not efficient. Had to explain several times to get our order correctly. Dinner was just ok and therefore so overpriced. Breakfast was good. The person who helped us with check-in was very nice.

I knew the property but never stayed here before. I had heard there were new owners but only had optimistic expectations. It looked the same upon arrival, management did make an accommodation to our party which was much appreciated. We went to our room to find it dated musty, the floors on both main and first floor sagged in all directions clean but the TV was not working the WiFi wasn’t available and there was no restaurant at this property. It seems very run down which is such a shame.

I keep coming back to this palace for the last 3 years but it’s getting worst… So sadly this place is falling apart. Floors are uneven and sloping very dangerous. The front desk are not welcoming and helpful at all. The restaurant service was terrible and food not the best. I won’t recommend this place anymore.

Upon arrival, no staff, no working bar or restaurant. Was told to get keys ourselves. Every door in the place was open. Room didn't have a lock. Mouse droppings found in room. We left immediately and didn't stay. Maybe there're going through some changes and will emerge better, but for now, do not recomend.
