"The location is magnificent, this is such a stunning part of devon, and you walk out the door basically onto the beach! The room was beautiful, with colour and texture and charm. the only slight against it was the only parking is the public carpark nextdoor so about £10 per day, but thats not much of a gripe in the scheme of things and they were super

"Wonderful Escapism A treat away for my 50th birthday. Exceptional service throughout our stay from bar and restaurant staff, through to the lovely cleaning ladies. Made my stay very special, fabulous food both at the Pilchard Inn and the black tie dinner. Any little issues were dealt with straight away and am already looking for an excuse to go back again, oh and you must brave it and take a swim in the mermaid pool."

"Very nice room. View- in the distance - of kingsbridge creek. Excellent breakfast included in the very reasonable price . Very helpful and Friendly staff. Good beer and ciders. Bed was ok , but we are used to memory foam mattress/ toppers now, so missed that.

"The landlord was wonderful and willing to go the extra mile for his guests. The room was very comfortable and cosy, complete with a desk and chair. I didn't have a problem with the room's artwork depicting the female form, but I can see why this might not be to everyone's taste! The shower looked modern and worked really well, but no shower gel or shampoo was provided. The one thing that really bugged me was the dodgy Cloud wifi, which was both unsecure and unreliable. Worked ok in the pub but...

"Lovely property with extremely high quality accommodation. Comfortable bed, beautifully decorated room with modern en-suite, luxury soap/shampoo products, tea and coffee making and handmade biscuits. Friendly hosts who really couldn’t do enough for you. Unable to take advantage of the breakfast but suspect I’d missed a treat. Could smell the bread baking in the morning. Parking was available but needed some skilled manoeuvres in the space so parked on the road outside without any bother....

"It is an absolutely brilliant hotel. Well situated and has all the amenities needed to keep the entire family happy. I went in the winter so mist be even better in the summer when the outdoor pool is open and the suns out."
