"We liked that the hotel was close to buses and town making it easy to get to around etc.Catering staff etc were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.The lift broke on our 3rd day of 7 night stay and remained out of order for rest of our stay. which was a bit of a problem as my wife ..."

"Views are beautiful staff friendly and helpful, breakfast plenty of options. Have to pay for parking which I think was £12. We used the out door spa which was beautiful but you do need to book in advance. Cocktails with a view perfect way to spend the day. We will return 😊"

Lovely place

"The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. ..."
