"Excellent location and property for a 2 night stay to see Lake Louise and Lake Moraine.
We stayed in a suite (47) and it was spacious and very comfortable. Very helpful staff who guided us for visiting Lake Louise.
Only drawback was that the suite was on first floor with no elevator.
Definitely recommend"
"This cute motel is conveniently located in the heart of Banff. The amenities are great, especially free bikes to use to get around town. The staff is all very friendly and attentive!"
"Had a great stay at sunshine mountain. Great staff at restaurants, no complaints about the food or drinks. It’s a 20min gondola ride to the top where the hotel is or 9min shuttle ride. 10miles to Banff. Happy we stayed here Banff was packed full of people. It’s a little too busy for me, so staying out of town was perfect. My only complaint is walls are paper thin so if you have inconsiderate neighbors or little kids running it ruins your sleep. All in all it was a great stay and we would stay again. Oh and the hiking was phenomenal."
"Grounds are nice enough.
The are non AC. the rooms and beds are small forcing one outside to sit outside.
The provided outside tables are all pitched and need to be leveled.
Parking is crowded forcing one to park a distance from their room"
"We stayed in a lodge room and it was great. The location of Baker Creek is perfect, it is close to Lake Louise, and Yoho area. I’ve seen other comments about the trains being a concern, while we did hear them during the day we never heard them when sleeping and we kept windows open, this was never an issue. It is a great place."
"The meals were very tasty and the community tables enjoyable. We met many nice people with interesting stories and good tips on hikes at our table, which changed up during our 3 day stay as guests came and went. It was fun running into table mates here and there. The Thursday talk in the living room, by a very funny and knowlegeable guy on local birds, was a treat. Interesting cocktails at the little bar and tasty snacks to go with it. Not having WiFi exept at "the shed' was just fine! The lake and mountains are of course spectacular. The mosquitoes on the hike to the falls were equally spectacular....bring repellant!"
"This was an incredible property!! They were excellent about making sure to let me know my VIP benefit and exactly how to use it. The proximity to other places was perfect, and we had an amazing time. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a great stay!! I will absolutely recommend to all and hope to return during ski season!"
"Fantastic cabins in the mountain that are well maintained.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
If you like to hike, order a togo sandwich the night before, well worth it.
Don't miss dinner, the food is so fresh and flavourful, it was an excellent meal.
Well done and would definately stay again."
