"Very comfortable beds and lovely and clean. Bathroom could do with refurbishing, but otherwise the room was great. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Can't praise them enough! Breakfast was good and the food in the bar was excellent. Having access to the pool and leisure facilities was a treat."

"All I can say is wow! We just checked out of this place today and loved every single thing. The staff was phenomenal - very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The room was beautiful and the area was quaint. We visited the bar a few times and had consistently great service. I recommend booking a room here and I would definitely return if the chance arises. Also, the bed was super comfortable! Thank you Horse and Hound for an amazing experience."

"Very comfortable & pleasant stay despite first impressions of the external of the premises. Comfortable & very clean accommodation. Plenty hot water & good heating in room. Very comfortable bed. All British TV channels, WiFi & streaming available FOC. Network coverage a little weak due to location. Idyllic setting, though a little dated in decor style and in need of external overhaul. Good breakfast. Very accommodating host who facilitated me early breakfast request. Good value overall. "

"We arrived slightly earlier than the check-in time, and were greeted by Christopher, who gave us a tour and couldn't have been nicer. We had two rooms for a family of 4. The rooms are very clean, and the beds were super comfy! The lodge is quiet. I barely heard or saw another tenant while we were there, even though they were fully booked. This is a beautiful property close to all the sites in Glendalough."
