Villa Rose Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Overall, we had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made a great impression. The bathroom was very clean, but the bathtub was quite tall, making it a little difficult to get in and out. Also, my husband is 6’2”, and the shower head was mounted too low for him to shower comfortably. The hotel does not have air conditioning, but they provide a floor fan in the room. We found that the fan kept the room comfortable, even without A/C. One downside was that the elevator was extremely slow, so be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent customer service, and we’d consider staying here again."

"The location was so beautiful by the waters edge and convenient. The staff were super helpful and very friendly .The food is excellent and portions generous . We were able to sample everything on the menu during our stay The whole experience was a breath of fresh air If I had one very small request USB ports in rooms would be great but most certainly not a deal breaker"

"The Inishowen Gateway is a very pleasant spot to stay, with friendly staff; comfortable and quiet rooms; an atmospheric bar; and a well appointed leisure centre, with indoor swimming pool and well equipped gym. The location is not too far from the town centre, the food is tasty, and the overall ambience is one of easy relaxation."

"Very great hotel with helpful and enthusiastic staff also a lovely quiet atmosphere with great breakfast food. The room was amazing with a cozy bed and great tv and shower with hot water shower caps, the room seemed to have everything you need. An iron board was also a nice bonus. I’d rate the leisure centre a 10/10 honestly just perfect pool, hot tub and even a handy gym. One thing the hotel can work on is the WiFi broadband connection which was poor and not even able to be used at all. It it wasn’t for the broadband I would rate the hotel a 5 star."

"We arrived well before the check-in time and the receptionist was very friendly and amenable. It took ten minutes and our rooms were ready and we could check in. The room was lovely, massive and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets, duvet, pillows were all very clean. There was a good choice for breakfast. All staff were very helpful. The grounds are lovely. I would definitely come here again."
