If you are looking to be close to nature in an active vacation, this is your place to be. We went in Dec 2025. It was gorgeous to have snow at your doorstep (literally), a frozen lake 2 min walk and forest about 5 min walk away! It was a joy to have the ability for the kids to get into their snowsuit ...
