Just a great place to stay. Spotlessly clean, newly refurbished and a great location. Yes, there is late noise, though I didn't hear it on night two (Friday) presumably because of the amount of 'hospitality' I'd indulged in.
Very nice stay! Conveniently located with lots of shopping options. Pub downstairs had great food and nice ambiance. Parking nearby in public lot. Good times!
Loved this property. Felt historic with a renovation. This was a welcoming lovely place to stay. No issues with noise but didn’t stay the weekend. No elevator but it was only an issue to get our suitcases up to our rooms . The staff helped! Thank you Tatlers Jack
There’s no parking close by, it’s about a 500m walk, and that parking says you can’t park over night but the hotel told us they never check it. Our room was nice but the bathroom was very small. It is located in the middle of town and great for walking around
Hotel is in the heart of Killarney surrounded by cafes, shops and interesting sites. Hot breakfast included was a real treat. Our room was over the bar but all was quiet by 11:00. We had car troubles while in Killarney and Ray, bar staff, supported us in trying to contact our rental company. We made a last minute decision to stay in Killarney for 2 nights and we’re glad we did. There’s so much to see. Would definitely stay at Tatler Jack’s again.
Taller Jack is a great BnB in the heart of Killarney. There are so many shops and restaurants in walking distance (even in the off season). Check-in/out was very simple and our booking included a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and our entire stay was great!
We had a wonderful stay. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom did noy have any sort of shelf or other place to place your bathroom items and the floor of the shower was quite slippery, but both were minor inconveniences. We will gladly stay again. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty prepared to order.
We loved our stay here! My only complaint would be the shampoo, shower gel combo provided. I would’ve preferred at least separate shampoo and body wash. Otherwise, the staff was so friendly and while the room is small- it was very comfortable.
In heart of Killarney so anticipate music until the early hours of each day.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Tasty breakfast. I would note that the walls are a bit thin and because they are directly above the bar, the music in the evening is very audible. Not a bad thing if you're young and intend to hang out at the bar, but if you want to go to bed before 11pm, you might consider an alternative stay. It's not horrible, but definitely affect our ability to sleep before 11pm.
This B&B was definitely different, had a decent room and the bathroom was very small. There was no ac and we were above the bar so we couldn’t have our window open as the bar had live music till 2am. Once all the music and drunk people left we finally got to sleep but then the maintenance trucks came at like 7am and that woke us up again. If you decide to stay here make sure to ask for the bedrooms not facing the Main Street. We unfortunately were booked for a weekend so I’m assuming this isn’t a daily occurrence. The staff were also rude when we would order drinks or need assistance. Also no parking so be prepared to park in a parking lot and pay during the day if you leave your car.
Staff was very friendly and loved the breakfast included

Checked in at the bar. Staff not very welcoming at check in or dinner. However they very kindly helped with carrying our luggage up the flight of stairs to the accommodation above the bar.
Pros:
- excellent breakfast daily; extremely generous/substantial and varied!
- breakfast staff of 2-3 were very busy daily but so efficient!
- conveniently located to transport, eateries/pubs, shops, tours and sights
- kettle with tea bags and coffee sachets in room
- hair dryer and ironing board/iron in room
- room refreshed daily: linen and trash
- fan provided in room (as while nights are cool, way too noisy to have windows open)
Cons:
- meal swapped at dinner without explanation. Ordered leg of lamb (looked delicious!), shortly later informed unavailable. Asked for Irish stew and table then set up with bowls. Bowls replaced with plates when meal placed before us… plate with 3 slices of roast lamb with blanched veg on a bed of mashed potato and gravy! Billed for Irish stew with waiter mumbling about kitchen finding lamb!
- one towel in one last day noted to be stained with blackish/grey spots. Inexcusable oversight. No towel in that condition should be in circulation. Could not ask for replacement as no phone in room and was not prepared to go to the bar at night for a proper/clean/fresh towel.
The room had a lovely large window , second floor)where we could observe the coming & going of the community.
The bathroom was clean. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The towel warmer was an extra nice addition.
The twin beds were comfortable and a bit close together, it was not really a problem.
The breakfast menu has a variety of good selections. Fresh fruit and juice were available too. The select meat & cheese platter & the Veggie were out favorites.
The bar is lively. We enjoyed the music whether in the bar or our room. One might bring ear plugs if you like to retire early in the evening.
The staff was very friendly!
Great spot. Just a little loud on a Friday night with bars and clubs around.
Would definitely recommend though
Great breakfast too. Witch we did not expect and it was included in our say aswell
