I've stayed here twice and absolutely loved it both times. The rooms are wonderful, and each time I was lucky enough to get a wonderful view looking out at the mountains. I'm normally not one to spend time in a hotel's lobby or sitting room. Usually I'll just go straight to my room and rest there, but Randles is the exception. They have a real wood fire going in their sitting room most evenings, and the staff come out to stone the fire from time to time. My girlfriend and I loved sitting there after our long days, enjoying the sound of the fire and the beautiful decoration of the room. She would read and I would just sit. It was a lovely way to end our evenings. Everything and everyone here was comfortable and accommodating. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The Randles staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We loved the feather beds and the size of the room. It was off-season so we had to dine next door, but it is part of the same "group" of hotels and the food and drink were great.

5-Stars all the way. No plastic anywhere, no paper napkins. Clean white linen instead, and glass eater bottles. Very environmentally conscious. Also very quiet and comfortable in our top level dormer room. The modern radiant heat was silent and efficient, as was simply opening the window when needed. The in-house breakfasts were good, part buffet, part hot order. And dinig there in the evenings was very nice, with excellent, attentive service and great food. Would stay again in the same room in a heartbeat!

Great location a short walk from town centre. Wonderful lounge which was a great place to relax with a book and a nightcap in front of the open fire. Room was very modern with touch controlled lighting and shower. Mirrors were a bit odd. Bed very comfortable. Only complaint was the room in lower level and being awoken every morning before 6 by loud truck outside bedroom window. Make sure your room is on a higher level.
