Management Needs to Engage
Killarney Avenue Hotel Manager My wife and I needed to amend our travel plans to Killarney. We were hoping to arrive 21st January and depart the morning of 23rd January. Unfortunately because of storm Isha, which brought strong southwest to west winds with severe and damaging gusts, this made car travel from Galway to Killarney extremely dangerous. We will now arrive Monday 22nd and depart Tuesday the 23rd. We understand that this change is last minute but we trust you will understand our decision to be safe in our travels. We look forward to spending quality time in your Hotel. Soooooo, we received No reply from Management and Hotel.com was unable to contact the Hotel. They charged us for the two nights. The staff themselves had power outages at their homes and certainly understood our situation. Unfortunately, they were not in a decision making position. The hotel and location along with the amenities were outstanding. If only we had heard back from the senior management hiding somewhere, we could have been understanding.
