"Banyan Harbour Resort was a good fit for our family of five. The condo isn’t particularly spacious, modern or updated, but it has a charming, authentic feel. It feels more like staying in someone’s home than in a hotel, which makes it cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. We spent most of our days exploring the island rather than at the resort, so for us it offered very good value for the price. Our three teenagers especially enjoyed the elevated pool, which has a beautiful view of the harbour. There are also tennis and pickleball courts and a BBQ area. The location worked very well for exploring the south side of Kauai. Poipu is only about a 20–25 minute drive away, which we found very reasonable. Staying here was much more affordable than staying directly in Poipu while still giving us easy access to the area. Overall, a comfortable, practical and good-value option for a family looking for a home base to explore Kauai."

"The local front end receptionist or manager at the hotel who took calls the morning we called with an emergent need to check in was helpful in every way. She was clear and kind and then over delivered on a conservative expectation. Just the best. Exactly what we needed that morning and she could tell. She treated us like real people and that’s rare these days."

"Stayed here for our honeymoon and can literally say it was the best! The other location we thought about was hotel #1. I would say this location was perfect probably the pretty resort on the island in our opinion. It was huge right on the beach and in the perfect location to travel to all sides of the island for fun. The pool and resort amenities, restaurants were amazing. Everything was clean and well maintained. There were a lot of people there but did not feel over crowded at all. Very quiet and relaxing! Great stay."

"The staff here are incredibly warm, friendly, professional, and efficient! Though the hotel itself is a bit dated, the location and views are absolutely spectacular. And the property's quaintness is nostalgic and charming :) My fiancé and I stayed here and witnessed multiple incredible sunrises + sunsets, enjoyed the pool and ocean views, and were especially grateful for a generous room upgrade when the room we initially booked wasn't ready for us. It's also in an extremely convenient and walkable location! Highly recommend."

"The pool was only open the first day of our stay and was closed the rest. Not being able to use the ceiling fan wasn't cool. It was weird that the coffee maker had to be moved to use since it wasn't plugged it and I couldn't reach the socket. The shower was amazing for tall people!"
