"Hotel.com act like a scam. I didn't know that the Ty Nant hotel was only for students. After contacting Hotels.com several times, it was impossible to get the deposit back. Therefore, Hotels.com has miscommunication with Ty Nant hotel and I been lie about the refund. Keep up the good work Hotels.com Anyway, it doesn't matter what's my opinions. "Absolutely incredible stay. We done 3 nights and didn't want to leave! The place was spotless, incredibly homely and comfortable. There were even complimentary cakes and wine left for us. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Our toddler loved having goats on our doorstep and walking down to see the pigs. The area was incredibly quiet and peaceful with nothing but a beautiful field behind us. The back garden with the hot tub is very private even though you have neighbours either side...

"On arrival I was told that as of yesterday parking is £5 though it was advised everywhere as free for the weekend. I argued this and they explained it is not their parking and have no control over it. I was told if I didn't pay it I would get £100 fine. Next part is more this website. I was led to believe that the facilities were available on my package however when you see the fine print it wasn't and the wording of it was terrible the staff looked and agreed it was not clear. But that was extra. I did have a good sleep however and the breakfast was ok. Limited choice though. Only scrambled eggs available for the fried breakfast. But the fruit and yogurt section was good. The arrival staff I felt were a bit difficult but the leaving staff were very helpful and friendly. Something is going on with the stair they make a strange noise but otherwise it was good. Not excellent."
