Es war der schönste Aufenthalt in unserer 4 wöchigen Rundreise. Diese Lodge muss man einfach erlebt haben. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend. Der Sundowner und das Abendessen im Eagles Nest wurden zum unvergesslichen Erlebnis.

Sehr schöne Lodge mit vielen Orten zum Entspannen

Die Lodge ist landschaftlich sehr schön gelegen, hat viele Rückzugsorte zum Entspannen, zwei Pools und ein kleines Outdoor Gym.

Stay at the “Heaven’s Gate” cottage. Amazing!!

This is a wonderful property and hotel. We stayed on top of the plateau in an incredible cottage called “Heaven’s Gate”. It is a bit of a trek to get to and from but worth every bit of the effort. Has a lovely wood fire heated spa, total seclusion, and incredible outlook. There is also a smaller restaurant on top of the plateau which we ate at each night. The hotel at ground level is also terrific.

Fabulous place. Run on solar power. Great room and balcony/outside space. Staff are all very helpful. Special shout out to Steph for helping us book activities before we arrived. Dinner at the Eagles Nest is a must. Views are worth the climb!

Very unique stay. We booked heavens gate and eagles nest restaurant is a must. Be prepared to walk up the mountain to reach your room and restaurant. Truly an amazing experience.

One of the most beautiful settings for a lodge we have ever experienced - like an African Monument Valley, with nothing around you outside of the lodge. Great views from the chalets, plenty of wildlife on the property (rock hyrax, birds including lovebirds). The walks on the property were very nice, especially the one taking you up to the lookout.We had dinner included which was great, so was the breakfast. The only negative was some of the staff - you could tell they were not happy to work there or had some other issues that we could feel as guests. Understandable, but not professional. This is not a general statement though, we also met one of the friendliest staff members during our trip here.

Es hat sich gelohnt!!! Sehr netter Empfang und ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht von der Terrasse. Noch besser ist der Ausblick vom Eagles Nest mit ausgezeichnetem Abendessen. Frühstück umfangreich und lecker. Klare Empfehlung!

Must visit in Namibia

This was by far my favourite place we stayed in Namibia. The rooms, location and food were all spectacular and the value for money was great, I found the quality to be better than other places we stayed that were double the price. I would recommend people don't make the same mistake we made and stay more than 1 night! I would also recommend requesting to book dinner on top of the cliff on one occasion.

Setting amazing. Good walking trails and going up Eagles Nest for sunset amazing.Good wifi.Nice pools. Food good but limited choice for non meat eaters. As was half board suggest any non meat eaters inform lodge in advance.

Die Unterkunft war so nah an der Vingerklip, sodass wir mit Kind einen gemütlichen Spaziergang zum Sundowner machen konnten. Der schöne Abschluss mit zwei Giraffen im Sonnenuntergang war der absolute Hammer. Die Zimmer in der Lodge waren sehr gut ausgestattet und man hat sehr gut in den Betten geschlafen. Das Personal war immer freundlich und der Koch hat ein super Abendessen und Frühstück gezaubert! Selbst der Chef erkundigte sich persönlich nach unserem Wohlergehen! Einen Kinderwagen würde ich in diese Loge nicht mitnehmen, da es viele Stufen gibt. Dafür hat man eine super Aussicht von allen Seiten ins Tal. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Vingerklip Lodge liegt einzigartig und man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick. Die Gegend ist auch für Hikes geeignet. Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist ein Abend im "Eagle's Rest" Restaurant.
