The hotel has a super view and atmosphere, all staff are nice, food are all great, overall is really good but lot of noise from outside and upstair can leak into the room (I stayed in the building, not a villa)

Great view, middle of no where but worth driving there...big room but need more cleaning too much dust everywhere and too many bugs!! Both in rooms and outside. Housekeeping should do a better job! Very good breakfast. Great food with many selections.

Disappointed - will not stay here again.

I was disappointed with my stay. The bed was really uncomfortable --hard as a rock. The hotel also gives you a 100 baht certificate that you can redeem when you spend 1000 baht. However, they do not honor this! I tried to use my certificate and the waiter told me I couldn't because he already brought my check to the table. I told him I was not finished and he said he would start a new tab. Ridiculous! I had not even paid yet! Anyway, 100 baht is about $3 US dollars. Not a big deal, but not good business because I will never stay at this hotel again. It seems like the owner/management are penny pushers. There are plenty of resorts in the area, so I will not be staying here again. For 100 baht the resort lost a customer.

Expectation met

My experience started the moment we checked in. Once I was verified with documentation my identity we were ushered directly to our room. The Bellman carried everything up to the third floor where we were staying. The room was clean bed sheets crisp, towels fresh, and the overfeel of the room was cozy. The breakfast buffet which was included had many options. The dining area where breakfast was served overlooked the Mekong River. Staff were friendly and courteous. I enjoyed walking through the amphitheater of the property because the tall canopy of trees that provided shade made it comfortable from the torrid heat. The view from our balcony of the Mekong River and Laos was picturesque. The resort was secluded and only saw other guest and staff. Very peaceful. The property had kayaks and bicycles for guest use. The bicycles made for a leisure exploration of the nearby town and Two Colours River. Food at the resort restaurant was substandard and on the expensive side. Fees for take outs and for bringing in outside drinks. The only amenity that this place lacked was a weight room for strength training.

ländliche Idylle und schöner Blick auf den Mekong

schöne Hotelanlage, toll am Mekong gelegen, man ist auf einen Pkw angewiesen, leider wurde in mehreren Bereichen Renovierungsarbeiten vorgenommen, so dass ein relaxtes Liegen am Pool kaum möglich war, am ersten Tag gab es ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet - genau so wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben- da ab unserem 2. Tag deutlich weniger Touristen anwesend waren, gab es an Tag 2 und 3 nur noch ein sehr reduziertes Frühstücksbuffet und am letzten Tag wurde das Frühstück nur noch a la carte serviert und Sonderwünsche wurden nicht erfüllt

Great hotel close to the beach

Family arrived after booking 2 rooms on expedia.Staff member repeatedly said only one room booked. we produced evidence on phone .Staff member not understand english.Rang brother in law back in Austalia who contacted Expedia.They sorted it out in 5 minutes. Congratulations Expedia!! Great location ,great room,great food .

Excellent séjour, situation superbe, belle piscine

Nous avons passé 4 nuits au Tohsang Khong Chiam et notre séjour a été excellent. Nous avons logé dans une Garden Villa et n'avons pas regretté notre choix. Le bungalow était beaucoup plus spacieux que les chambres avec vue sur le Mékong. Tout le resort est accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite car il y a des plans inclinés partout à la place d'escaliers. L'hôtel est merveilleusement situé, au calme et dispose d'une belle piscine avec une vingtaine de lits de jardin avec matelas et parasols. La Happy Hour propose d'excellents cocktails (les mojitos sont excellents !). Le petit déjeuner est servi sous forme de buffet (majorité asiatique, mais aussi du pain maison, des toasts, de l'excellent café, des fruits frais...).

Hotel an wunderbarer Lage direkt am Mekhong

Leider war das Bett in unserem Zimmer in einem sehr schlechten Zustand, sehr hart und wie eine Badwanne, wir konnten nur schlecht darin schlafen. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt am Mekhong. Feines Frühstück und gutes Essen erwartet die Gäste in den Restaurants. Guter Ausflugspunkt für Reisen in verschiedene Naturmonumente und Nationalparks. Leider unfreundliche Personen beim Check-In.

Pros: very quiet beautiful riverside hotel. Great breakfast buffet.Nice view Great service. Cons: Expensive as for being in Thailand. And of nowhere location
