"Extremely disappointing stay. We were greeted professionally, the front of house staff were wonderful and very amiable. They checked us in and offered us a complimentary 20% off restaurant voucher. However this is where it went wrong. The staff in the restaurant and manager Bee refused to honour it and brought us multiple different bills with 10% off, then a refusal, then only when we looked at the letter where it stated in BOLD letters that the Florae restaurant was offering the 20% did they finally relent and provide us the 20%. It was a humiliating and degrading experience for all involved. No apology was given, in fact the front of house was blamed for providing incorrect information to the guests. This lack of organisation and poor staff conduct towards each other is not acceptable at a 5☆ hotel. We paid and had to move on, we were required to take photos of the letter given on behalf of the Valia in order to prove this. Extremely poor service. Other than this, my room was dirty with waste still floating in the toilet and the knob to the bathroom being broken. A truly disappointing experience to what should have been a positive experience. I will mention once more that the concierge and front of house in the reception were extremely professional. Sadly they were the only ones. I would recommend serious talks with management. "Amazing hotel, very modern and clean. Very good food as well. Breakfast is amazing and has lots of selection. My only dissapointment was the fitness gym. Could have better equipment. It looked better in the photos and it looks like the ceiling is leaking everywhere from the big air conditioners. Other than that i highly recommend Skyview hotel and would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you."

"Overall its ok for a family. Very small lobby, (you wouldnt sit and chill). Shuttle every hour to BTS and mall (drop off only, no pick up). TOPS supermarket right next door. Few restaurants across the road. Location isnt too bad, massages within the Soi. On check out we wheeled our suitcases to lobby wanting to utilise luggage scale but was advise they dont offer it which was disappointing, guests travel with luggages thought a scale would be essential for guests convenience. "

"Unfortunately, I found mold in my room. When I asked to switch they were accommodating, but the 2nd room also had mold. In the 2nd room, there was a leaky shower attachment that dripped tons of water onto the rim of the tub & floor. The laminate wood floors were peeling. I didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot. I can tell they do clean a lot but if it’s not properly sealed solid wood or stone tile, those cleaning products will eat away at the surface over time. Also, the gym vibe was very off. There were two workers in green track suits squatting in the middle of the gym floor with their phones plugged in while using them and playing videos. They were just there as a distraction more than adding to the vibe. As I said earlier, I had issue with two rooms and I didn’t have the energy to request a 3rd room. So I took a bath and checked out after 1 hr. When I went down to check out they asked if I can wait so they can check the room. Check for what exactly? Why would they not be more concerned that I’m leaving after reporting a couple issues? Because they insisted on delaying me on my checkout, I figured I would include that because I don’t ever get asked to stay behind for staff to check a room. And that was really not the best time to request that because I had already been highly frustrated. Maybe if I would’ve requested a 3rd room, things would’ve worked out - But I also think the whole vibe there just needs work. It does have potential to be better."

"I stay 4 night , but I can’t believe within these no banana on breakfast. Staff and cleaning is perfect no need to say nothing . Only breakfast some day is good some day is terrible. "
