Enjoyed our stay, the property is very nice and the restaurant was great! Sad the tram was not running, that would have been very convenient for shopping and looking around.

The cable car to the shopping area was not operational. This was very inconvenient because it required the use of car or taxi to reach the shopping district.

Great place to stay!

Excellent hotel on hillside with great views of town and marina. Close to shopping and downtown, but with the tram out of service be prepared for lots of steps and a steep walking path (the shuttle was very willing to take folks places). Rooms were clean and spacious; very comfortable accommodations. The restaurant on-site had great food and lots of options. I’d recommend Cape Fox Lodge to anyone visiting Ketchikan.

Beautiful property built with natural exposure beam construction. Many Native American pieces of art on exhibit The front desk/reception staff and drivers were outstanding. They were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was incredibly good!! The restaurant was terrific, the best in town. There shuttle service around town was amazing and one of the main reasons I would go back again. The location was beautiful. Staff was so nice! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Loved how this lodge is perched on the hilltop, our room view was awesome and because tree tops were parallel several eagles entertained us whenever we were in our room. Restaurant is great with lots of options. The front desk staff and gift shop staff were terrific. Def recommend this lodge!

Close to town. Walking trail nearby. They do need to Fix/get someone to run trolley to creek street. Would help a lot.

The property was beautiful! We stayed in ketchikan a couple of days and never needed a car. The lodge van was so accommodating on getting us where we asked. One of the drivers, Vicki, was fantastic, and so friendly.

Unique hotel

It was a heat wave when we got there and the tram or gondola wasn’t working so if you wanted to go downtown Ketichan without taking the shuttle you had a trail which was fine walking down but a steep walk upwards to get to the this hotel. It’s a unique hotel The shuttle van was great to get to the airport and pickup and if you stayed there in Cape Fox Lodge you could be picked up from a downtown location and get the shuttle back to this hotel. Nice bar and restaurant and gift shop too!

The overall property condition was great. Lovely location looking over the town of Ketchikan. The onsite amenities were good and the restaurant was excellent.

We were in a room located just above lobby. Music was coming too loud from the restaurant. We asked and begged to either stop the music or change us room. Nothing happened. Never going back. Also check in a disaster

Perfect stay

Fantastic location above Ketchican - amazing views with comfortable walk to town. Nicest hotel in Ketchican. Very quiet, comfortable bed, nice linens and friendly staff. Shuttle service to airport available. Restaurant with full menu - we had fish/chips! Yum... Relaxing. Small gift shop and many displays of indigenous art.

Best views of Ketchikan. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Nice lobby and sitting room with the fireplace. The tram was out of service when we were there, however we love a good hike. A few minutes up and down the staircase gets you into Creek Street and into town. We would stay again.

I can’t rave enough about Cape Fox! We stayed in a Mountain View room and it was beautiful! We were able to request a shuttle to pick us up from the ferry and from that moment we were sold. Ken was amazing and gave us a little tour of town before taking us to the lodge. He helped us with so much! Pam was also tremendous and helped us with any and everything! The restaurant inside the lodge was also a huge hit! We loved eating there and they had live music on Thursday! The view was amazing and the staff was amazing as well!! I can’t rate our experience high enough! It was a truly remarkable experience here!

Exceptional Customer Service!!! One of the men in our group had a medical emergency while staying at the lodge. The lodge offered and provided transportation to the local hospital. The man ended up having to have his gall bladder removed. the rest of our group had to leave him behind but three days later the hotel brought him his luggage and drove him to the ferry so he could join us in hunting camp. I wold highly recommend the Cape Fox Lodge. Signed: D Jones

The Cape Fox Lodge is a wonderful property to retreat to in style when staying in Ketchikan. Although the most spendy lodgings in town, Cape Fox delivers in unmatched views, perfect location for walking the town, lovely rooms and a splendid restaurant to enjoy. I made frequent use of the funicular tram to travel down the steep embankment to walk around town. There's a walking trail if one prefers. The Lodge also delivered me by van a short distance to the nearby trail head to hike up a nice peak. The restaurant has a splendid menu, with views to match and a cozy fire after dark. I recommend the plank salmon dinner and crab dip appetizer. The Cape Fox Lodge is definitely the place for you if you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay in Ketchikan.

Wonderful hotel room great food and beautiful art work but some guy tried selling me crack or something to that nature in the parking lot and I’m not down with that... great for myself but I’m not sure if I’d bring my whole family around that

They racially profiled me and kicked me out of the hotel refused to refund my deposit or the money for the next night which I didn’t stay. Restaurant is nice but the food is horrible. The bartender was a nice guy. But overall it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was humiliated in public for no reason
