"This was one of my worst hotel stays. I felt bad for the staff as they tried very hard to be polite and apologetic when the key card had to be reprogrammed at least 10 times because it would not open our door, the no buffet breakfast one day because they forgot to pick up the supplies, the no coffee one day because they forgot to take it out of the freezer to defrost, the banged up walls in the hallways, furniture in our room that was missing drawers, marked up and dingy. The positive-the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and it was cheap..but you get what you pay for."
"We booked this for one night. We were greeted immediately by a professional, friendly staff member. We were told that no one would be at the front desk between 9pm (I believe) and 7am. It was past 9pm when we settled into our room for the night. So we didn’t notice prior that there were roaches. We had to be up at 4am the next day so we just did our best to smash them and sleep, which was impossible because my daughter was afraid one would crawl on her face in the middle of the night. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well at all. The room smelled like it had been a smoking room and reeked of stale smoke. When my daughter got done with her shower, she put a towel on the floor to wipe up the water she had dripped on it and the towel was literally brown after. Our white socks were black after walking around in them for just a short time. The pillows were SO flat and the sheets and mattress protector were a little too tight for the bed and so it kept coming off the mattress, which wasn’t the cleanest. Other than the hallways smelling bad, we didn’t notice anything else so bad it stood out. We booked this room because it was cheaper than other options. I knew we weren’t staying in the nicest motel/hotel around. I’ve stayed in cheap motels & they were fine because they were clean. But between the roaches & the nasty floor, we didn’t want to touch anything. Would NOT recommend and would have left if we didn’t have to be up so early the next AM and had to stay more than one night. "
"Please don’t stay at this hotel. Roaches. Mold in the bathroom and shower. Doors don’t lock properly. I was there for my son graduation at Fort Jackson and I so upset that we stayed at a hotel like these. This hotel needs no stars. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. "
