Heaven on earth.

The view from our window was so gorgeous that we didn’t want to close the curtains to get some sleep (sunlight until about 10:00 pm in Ireland at this time of year)!! Our stay here was a highlight of our driving trip around this magical country.

Authentic Irish hospitality and fare

This was one of our stops as we toured the wild Atlantic Way. The hosts were very communicative, and accommodating around our arrival time. Fantastic experience to stay on a local farm who served a traditional Irish breakfast. While we are not a fan of white and black pudding, we loved the experience. The views were stunning, and we loved the resident cows.

White Heather Farmhouse is a few minutes drive from Kenmare - in the country but convenient to everything. There is farmland all around, so it’s peaceful and quiet - we had a heifer outside our window! The hostess, Sheila, was so knowledgeable about the area - she had lots of great recommendations of where to visit. And the breakfast was great as well - the perfect way to start the day! Highly recommended!

We tried to stay at all different bnb's on our trip ...this was our farmhouse one. It's a nice place.very clean ... wonderful owner very nice lady. It's not your usual bnb ...more like your own room and bathroom in your aunt's house ... living room to match. Very authentic and enjoyable. Very near ring of Kerry and a short drive from town.
