"Just to be clear: there is no pool. And the hotel is 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. But the service is 5 stars. And they clean every day, and change the bed and towels every 2 days"

"O pessoal do hotel é maravilhoso, me ajudou em vários temos que eram fora do escopo da minha estadia no hotel. Conseguiram um transporte para o hotel, me conseguiram outro hotel e as meninas que trabalham lá são ótimas. Os quartos são lindos, com decoração africana e muito limpos. O restaurante tem muitas opções de comida, com preços excelentes. A piscina estava muito limpa e boa. Uns 7 minutos andando da praia. "

"MINUS 10 STARS!!
Went from bad to worse from the time we arrived.
From having a mess in 1 room since they were building a bed, no toiletries at all as mentioned,
Water was not working properly; lights went off in 1 room and the ac and water not working in another.
Then went in total darkness with no back-up generator available and we were told it happens all the time.
Staff was hard to find even with a 'reception' area.
All around a horrible experience. Plus, we forgot to take 1 item...

"I’m happy to strongly recommend Terry’s Villa to anyone traveling to Nungwi. I stayed there with my family, and we had a spectacular experience from start to finish.
The villa itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — especially appreciated after long days exploring Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches. Although the villa is located a few minutes from the beach, it’s still within easy walking distance, which made getting around very convenient.

"I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with this hotel owner. We paid $2,700 for what was clearly sold to us as a 3-day tour, but after payment it was suddenly reduced to only 2 days with no proper explanation or refund.
To make matters worse, we were left at the airport without any transportation arranged, despite this being part of what was discussed. Since then, the owner has ignored our messages and refused to respond or take responsibility.

"Beautiful hotel! The staff was so friendly and service minded. It was a little difficult to find the hotel when driving, but you go into the Park Village. I would recommend to anyone! "

"Tembo Kiwengwa Resort is amazing, hotel is very clean and staff are caring and helpful. This is place is actually 100/10 rating. I have no words to add. The hotel itself is a vacation. Towels were a little musty, just bring your own towels."
Hotel Riu Palace Swahili - All Inclusive - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is new And the staff are great we had an amazing time.
The only issue is that the property was poorly built and already has signs of distress it will probably look worse in a few months"
"Property grounds were nice. Rooms are a bit dated. The TV and telephone in our room did not work. Manager at reception was very accommodating and made our stay much better. The massages were excellent. Highly recommend them.! Wifi is awful! Love the balconies! The other downside is the beach, the beach is beautiful but you have to pay 25$ for 2 chairs and umbrella every day if you want to be on the beach. Otherwise they do have beach chairs on man made beach near infinity pool. Just depends on your preference! Food is ok. Nothing to rave about but something for everyone!"
"Fabulous. Team is improving property to keep up with use but what makes this place magic are the PEOPLE. Wow — words do not suffice to express the care and comfort they offer."
"The hotel was beautiful with access to a stunning beach and views. Sunbeds were enough. The rooms were more than comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was varied, plentiful and delicious. The pools were awesome, all four being a standard 1.2m deep. The activities and entertainment was fun and exciting. Wifi was great! There is something for everyone. Superb hotel for adults and kids alike. Access to a 24hr lobby bar, beach bar and 3 themed restaurants with delicious food (booking via Riu app). Nothing to fault. Taking home a memorable stay at Riu Jambo."
