Hotel Eldorado at Eldorado Resort

8/10 Good

"its an ok hotel, the staff are all very young and lack experience with Clients, case and point my Partner was carrying things out the door her hands were full, very difficult to open the front door. Two boys watched her struggle, but did nothing. This is the same for all staff in restaurant and other areas, all very young and lack service abilities. Location on the water is excellent, rooms ok but remember this is an old hotel, some bathrooms small or need some upkeep, same with room. I would still recommend :)"

"Great resort but a couple of things that could make it better. Hours should be noted on dock. My nephew was locked out there. 3 phone calls and over 20 minutes to get someone to let him out. Also the person was a bit snotty about having to come out. I suggest checking the dock for kids fishing BEFORE locking gates. And for housekeeping-4 people listed in room would require 4 towels, We were given only 3 towels and 2 face cloths at least twice. Maestros restaurant was a highlight…excellent service and excellent meals!"
