"The place was nice and it was clean. Comfortable room. Very loud at night though. I kept waking up until 1am to some type of club nearby blasting music and people shouting which was unfortunate."

"Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. It's an old school motor inn that leaves you feeling like you've traveled back in time...in a fun way! The room we stayed in (honeymoon suite) was reasonably updated and met all of our needs. The accomodation is quite basic but seemed adequate overall. Just don't expect anything "fancy" and you won't be disappointed. Great location being immediately off the highway and also just a few minutes and direct drive to beautiful Cobourg Beach. We are already planning to return again!"

"Our three bed room was slightly dated but clean and very comfortable. We didn't use the pool. The bar was nice and food was reasonably priced. Our server gave us a great suggestion to visit the Big Apple. My only wish would be that breakfast would be included."

"The staff person who checked us in was outstanding, to the point of allowing me to enter a couple of rooms to make sure there were no issues before assigning us a room. The property was clean and the breakfast was good. If you need a stop along the 401 for the night this is a good choice."

"Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean and well-appointed with a TV and a fridge. Had Keurig machines in room, which was a bonus. The small deck off the room, with a lovely view of the river was really nice - lots of ducks and geese wandering the grass. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and there was a small couch in the room as well. The lobby had 24-hour coffee/tea/cocoa and a cold water dispenser. The breakfast was great - hot and cold options, open early. Finally, the pool and hot tub were great. Pool was clean, warm and had a proper deep end. The hot tub was small, but it worked well. Just a great hotel, nicely situated on the river."
